Stone tools from way back when …..

A very productive and interesting stone tool site was investigated recently. The site situated close to East London (SA) presents itself in an eroded donga system which is parallel to a high upper embankment of a major river. Mr. Shane Oates of EL is acknowledged for bringing the value of the site to the museum’s attention. More on this at a later date – types of tools, chronology and geology ….. .
